In a recent co-coaching call, we talked about confidence and how we present ourselves. As a society, we seem to put the least amount of value on ourselves. We see the worth of others but are blind to our own. The question was raised, “Do you hold yourself as a valuable, rare diamond mean to be protected, invested in and respected? Or do you carry yourself as a cubic zirconia that can be replaced, tossed to the side and mishandled?” Whether a client, a peer or a significant other, they reflect back to us what we put out to the world.
Don’t settle for being treated like a cubic zirconia when you are a gem. All that you’ve been through has gotten you here. All that you’re going through will only allow you to shine brighter. Sometimes we just need reminded of who we are and what we deserve.
