At some point in each day, I feel some level of stress, fear, discouragement…the list goes on. The tricky part is feeling that and then letting it pass. Feel those emotions in your heart but also notice how your body feels physically. When you come back to your breath, you’re reminded that you have within you everything it takes to peacefully and contently move through the uncomfortable emotions. Don’t forget to come back to your self.

Recently I read an analogy about moving through emotions and life as a train moves through a tunnel. It’s dark and it’s scary. But the hope for light at the end of the tunnel is enough to keep moving forward and through. The promise and vastness of our own light is enough to save us. Just keep moving through all the dark parts, and you will find it. And when you find it, let it shine. It’s meant to shine so bright. Let it all out.
